Over 15 enthusiastic volunteers from Credit Suisse joined seniors at the Judith C. White Center for their weekly belly dancing class. Under the tutelage of our vibrant local instructor, volunteers and center members alike shook their hips and waved their arms.
Talents of the students at the Music School will be on display during two end-of-year recitals that feature selected students performing solo pieces on various instruments.

About 30 clients and staff members gathered at the Chemical Dependency Program to show off their skills in a talent show, reinforcing the principle that "the long Road of Recovery may have its bumps, hills, curves, and climbs,
but it can be an incredibly worthwhile trip that we can learn to savor along the
way" as beloved counselor and organizer of the show, Carmen Levasseur said. At Greenwich House, with help from our talented staff, we try to emphasize that recovery can be fun.

The 20 Over 60 Senior Art Show features artwork from 20 accomplished NYC artists over the age of 60 and will take place May 18 - May 25 at Center on the Square (20 Washington Square North).
Greenwich House is happy to welcome Herman Goldstein, LCSW-R, CASAC, as its new Clinical Services Director at the Chemical Dependency Program. Mr. Goldstein will lead the program in continuing to provide personalized care for individuals battling substance abuse. One of the primary goals is to increase the program’s reach across the city, providing care for more New Yorkers who seek our support.
Earth Week 2012 was marked by a great cornerstone at Barrow Street Nursery: the planting of the rooftop garden. After more than two years in the making, the dream of a rooftop garden at 27 Barrow Street became a reality, thanks to generous donations and hard work from the BSNS community.
The Stars 3s class spent the last two week of February learning about and exploring the West Village. They learned all about transportation around the Village as well as the wonderful restaurants that are typical of the neighborhood. For their cooking project they wanted to learn about something that is a favorite of theirs: cupcakes. Magnolia Bakery generously came to visit their class to teach them how to frost cupcakes.
